Location

Situated in a quiet hamlet within walking distance (approximately 10 minutes) to the picturesque village of Herstmonceux which offers local facilities including two village inns, post office and two general stores, restaurants including French, Indian and, yes, English. A function room is available at The Woolpack Inn which is situated in the heart of the village.

Herstmonceux Castle, now home of a Canadian University, is situated at the end of our lane. The area is spoilt for choice of Historic houses, some National Trust and others privately owned. Details are available in a folder in your room however; please do not hesitate to ask for further information if required.

Other towns close by include Battle, Hailsham and the seaside resorts of Bexhill and Eastbourne offering comprehensive shopping and leisure facilities. All are well worth a visit.
